There are two streams for registration:
- For registered Canadian mental health providers
- For other individuals, including allied health professionals and people affected by diabetes
In addition to completing self-paced e-learning modules, registered Canadian mental health providers will have the opportunity to take part in a 3-hour live, virtual interactive session led by an expert facilitator after completing the self-paced e-learning modules. Participation in this interactive session is required for listing in the Mental Health + Diabetes Directory.
By completing this course, mental health providers will learn to integrate knowledge of diabetes into practice to better support Canadians living with type 1 diabetes or type 2 diabetes, and their family members.
